I'll get to the point in just a moment but I figure you'd want to know at least a little bit about the person talking to you... Well, my name's Aaron Carrington (that's me on the left!) and I created Carrington Guitar Academy which is based in Bath in the UK. And the reason for this website is because I used to have the exact problems I mentioned above when learning to play Rock & Blues. However... **drum roll* - I'm proud to say this is no longer the case!

Musician Mindset

As a professional guitarist, I can teach you to think about guitar playing how a professional guitarist would. It doesn't matter whether you have aspirations of playing Wembley stadium or you just want to play in your bedroom.

In the guitar world, a lot of what get's passed off as 'natural talent' has a way simpler explanation; those guitar players have put effort into the right areas, consistently over time to see results. They've made the sacrifices to be the players that they are and you can do the same!

There are tried and tested methods that can be learned by any guitarist who finds themselves stuck in a rut, once you know these things you simply repeat them regularly and correctly until you get better.

Of course, it's easy to go down the YouTube rabbit hole but as resourceful as it can be, it doesn't guarantee structure, accountability or high quality information. This approach isn't for the quick fixers and it does take time but it works.
